I Honoured 2019 Agreements With Coalition Parties – Seyi Makinde Fumes

Governor Oyo Seyi Makinde said he respected the agreements he reached with political parties ahead of the elections in 2019.
His chief press secretary, Taiwo Adisa, quoted him in a statement released in the capital Ibadan on Sunday.

Makinde was speaking at the 85th birthday ceremony of former Minister of State Government (SSG), Chief Michael Koleosho in the Akobo region of Ibadan.

The Oyo train driver noted that those who accused him of violating the agreement had no evidence of their own.

Makinde said the statement was made in the run-up to the 2023 general election by people who knew nothing about the matter. The governor described the former GSU as one of the best politicians the state has ever produced.

Makinde thanked Koleosho for supporting his administration, revealing that he was one of the leaders who facilitated the coalition settlement.

The governor presented a new Toyota Landcruiser SUV to the celebrant and prayed to God to give him many healthy years.

Speaking, Koleosho urged politicians to stay away from politics and praised Makinde for his leadership style.
