President-elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday said he has no preferred candidate to lead the 10th National Assembly.
Asiwaju Tinubu said this came to light while addressing newly elected members of the National Assembly at a meeting organized by the ruling party, All Progressive Congress, APC, held at the Old Banquet Hall, Presidential Palace, Abuja.
The ruling party also instructed its elected legislators not to rest on the electoral victory that paved the way for the next Congress but to get back to work to win the state gubernatorial election and congresses on Saturday in their various states.
The position of the President-elect in the leadership of the upcoming 10th National Assembly was presented at the meeting by Vice President-elect, Senator Kashim Shettima.
