One Apprehended As Community, Police Declares Emmanuel Wanted Over Alleged Gay Practice
Indigenes of the Ekuku-Agbor community in Agbor and the Nigeria Police force have declared one Eboyem Emmanuel wanted for his alleged involvement in gay practice.
Eboyem Emmanuel 29, was caught with his friend identified as Sunday, in the act proscribed by the Nigerian government by his father, Mr. Eboyem Lucky, who made an unexpected return from a journey on Wednesday, April 27, 2016.

An eyewitness account disclosed that Mr. Eboyem Lucky stumbled on his son and his friend deeply engrossed in same-sex affairs right in his house.
He further explained that Mr. Eboyem having known that gay practice was a serious taboo in the land, immediately raised the alarm that attracted the presence of residents and the local security operatives (vigilante), who subsequently apprehended one of the suspects, Sunday while Eboyem Emmanuel narrowly escaped.
Meanwhile, it was gathered that irked youths of the community gave Sunday the beaten of his life before handling him over to the Police for further investigation and onward prosecution in the court of law.
An elder of the community, Mr. John Obuh, pointed out that gay practice, otherwise known as homosexuality is against the tradition, customs, and religious beliefs of the Agbor people, adding that Emmanuel and his friend Sunday have been excommunicated by the council of chiefs.
“Eboyem Emmanuel is no longer a member of our community, and the security operatives have also been instructed by the court to find him so that he can face the full wrath of the law. If not, he might be lynched to death by an angry mob that is also in search of him,” he said.
Recall that the former president of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan, on March 14, 2014 signed into law bill that criminalized homosexuality, gay marriage and other amorous relationship as offenders shall face a minimum of 14 years imprisonment on conviction.
As of the time of filing this report, the police and vigilante have laid manhunt on Eboyem Emmanuel whose whereabouts was yet unknown while his partner, Sunday has been convicted for 14years imprisonment having confessed to the crime.
They urged anyone with useful information about the whereabouts of the fleeing suspect, Eboyem Emmanuel, to report to the nearest police station.
