BREAKING!! NLC & TUC Shift Strike Notice By 2 Weeks

Organized labor, NLC, and TUC in Nigeria have suspended plans to hold nationwide protests against the offices of the Central Bank of Nigeria for two weeks.
The stay-at-home ban will be in place from Wednesday, March 29 across the country.

At a joint briefing in Abuja by Nigerian Labor Congress, NLC, President Joe Ajaero, and Nigerian Trade Union Congress President Festus Osifo,  the Labor Party said the change was the result of an easy cash crunch. easier, stemming from the CBN Naira Redesign Policy.

Labor said it will set up monitoring groups to check the compliance of CBN issuance of Old Naira banknotes and weekend transactions by depository banks.

The Labor Organization lamented constant fuel shortages and secret price increases for electricity. Labor and Employment Secretary Chris Ngige and Central Bank Governor Godwin Emiefele met with unions on Tuesday about planned protests.
