Enugu Guber: Why I’m supporting APGA candidate – Aisha Yesufu

Aisha Yesufu, a prominent social and political activist and strong supporter of Labor Party candidate Peter Obi in the recently concluded presidential election, has revealed why she chose to run for office. Governor of the All Progressive Alliance, APGA, in Enugu State, Frank Nweke.

Aisha, a key stakeholder in the Obedience movement, is backing the APGA gubernatorial candidate for the March 18 election.

According to a tweet on her verified handle, Aisha said she campaigned for Nweke even before joining the Obedience movement.

She wrote: ‘So Frank Nweke Jnr that I’ve been talking about since he and Peter Obi joined the PDP, I should have dropped out because it turns out he chose another side.

“Anyway, I don’t support Peter Obi because he’s in Labour. I support Peter Obi because he is competent.

“I started campaigning for Frank Nweke Jnr even before I started campaigning for Peter Obi. Many people didn’t pay attention. Now that Labor is the ruling party so my campaign for @FrankNwekeII has become I’m not a person with a long throat! I built not waiting to eat!
