The Supreme Court on Wednesday concluded a hearing in the case against the federal government over the controversial Naira redesign policy and set a March 3 date for its ruling.
Judge John Inyang Okoro fixed the date after presenting arguments for and against the lawsuits filed by several states in the Union.
The states led by Kaduna, Kogi, and Zamfara are praying to the Apex Court to reject and nullify the policy on the grounds that it causes hardship for innocent Nigerians.
The states accused Buhari of usurping the functions of the Central Bank of Nigeria, the CBN, and demanded the annulment of the directive issued by President Muhammadu Buhari.
