SUSPECTED FULANI HERDSMEN ATTACK: DENNIS CHUKWUYEM NMORDI RUNS FOR DEAR LIFE
Father of the slain 19-year-old, Mr. Godday Nmordi has raised alarm over the recurring herdsmen attack on his family.
Lamenting, Mr. Nmordi said he is yet to recover from the trauma of the first herdsmen attack which claimed the life of his third son, late Mark Nmordi on their farmland at Owa-Oyibu.
Further lamenting the attack, the bereaved father disclosed that members of his household have been living in fear since December 14th, 2021, when his first son, Dennis Chukwuyem Nmordi rammed into one of the suspected Fulani herdsmen that killed his younger son, late Mark Nmordi, and alerted the nearby vigilante members who went after the Fulani Herdsmen and apprehended one of them for further investigation and persecution.
“Dennis Chukwuyem Nmordi has several times escaped deadly attacks by herdsmen, which claimed the life of my brother, late Sunday Nmordi. Since then he has been on the run because I can’t afford to lose two sons and a brother.
Mr. Nmordi stated that he has been living under the mercy of God but prayed for the safety of his son, Dennis Chukwuyem Nmordi wherever he is.
It would be recalled that the first herdsmen attack on Mr. Nmordi at his farmland in Owa-Oyibu, on Saturday, November 20th, 2021, claimed the life of his third son, late Mark Nmordi.
