Labor Party presidential candidate Peter Obi defeated his People’s Democratic Party, PDP partner Atiku Abubakar in Muchalla Ward, North Mubi Local Government Area in Adamawa State.
The PDP candidate is from Adamawa State and his party controls the state.
According to the results released by the Independent National Election Commission’s collection center, INEC, Peter Obi collected a total of 4,524 votes, while Atiku followed with 1,864; Asiwaju Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) obtained 340 votes, while Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) was behind with 31 votes.
