PDP To Begin Seven-Day Fast For Atiku’s Election Petition Victory

The National Chapel of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has declared a week of prayer and fasting for their February 25 presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, to win the Presidential Electoral Court. started a few days ago.
Prayers that will begin on Thursday, May 18, and end on Wednesday, May 24 will be held at the National Party Chapel, PDP National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Wuse Zone 5, Abuja, 12:00 pm daily.

Recall that the Presidential Electoral Complaints Court adjourned Atiku’s case to May 18 to continue the preliminary hearing of the PDP and Atiku’s lawsuit against President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the General Assembly. People’s Progressives (PCA).

In a petition labeled CA/PEPC/05/2023, the PDP and Atiku challenge the claim that Tinubu is President elected by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The pre-motion hearing took place Thursday morning after Atiku and PDP attorney Chris Uche expressed interest in the case. The fast, announced by Boni Haruna, president of the PDP’s Christian religious organization, is labeled “To the Supreme Court of Heaven with the Chief Justice of the Universe”.

Haruna noted that the prayer was to “unmask the president-elect of the Independent National Election Commission and save the PDP for Nigeria.”
