Igbos: Atiku’s camp identifies Tinubu’s first assignment if sworn-in

People’s Democratic Party, PDP faction, presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar on Friday outlined the first post of President-elect Bola Tinubu if he is sworn in on May 29.

Daniel Bwala, a spokesman for Atiku, said Tinubu’s first mission was to unite Nigerians who believed he had rigged the election.

Keeping Tinubu silent on the defamation of Igbos in Lagos State following the victory of Peter Obi of the Labor Party, LP, in the state, Bwala wondered if the President-elect could unite the Nigerian people.

In a series of tweets, Bwala said:
“I personally believe that the Igbo man believes in the Nigerian project and lives it in his life and economy.

“They should never be profiled and abused for the behavior of a few on social media. “When and if Tinubu is sworn in on May 29, his first mission will be to unite a country divided and those who don’t trust him because he rigged the election. This mission is more than anything he has in his manifesto.
