Faleke Clarifies Alleged ‘Fight’ With Gbajabiamila – See What He Said

A member of the House of Representatives, James Faleke reacted to rumors of confrontation with the president, Femi Gbajabiamila.
The fight is said to have taken place during the Lagos Caucus meeting that took place at Gbaja’s mansion a few days ago.

In a statement, Faleke insisted that there was no argument between them, stating what he did

“was clear the rumours of disagreement”.

“I made it clear to my other colleagues that such insinuation was just a figment of the imagination of the rumour mongers.”

Federal Constituency Representative Ikeja advised members of the public to “ignore the allusions and networks of lies”.

Faleke served as secretary of the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) of the Radical Congress (APC).

There is speculation that he and Gbajabiamila are at odds over the role of chief of staff to President-elect Bola Tinubu.

The fight is said to drag on until the priority lawmaker emerges as the 10th Speaker of the House in June.
