Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has been alerted to his latest criticism of several high-ranking figures in the country.
Deji Adeyanju, a social and political activist, said Wike should make things easy because he is just a governor and not a “deputy of Jesus”.
Adeyanju is reacting to the latest confrontation between Wike and former Kogi West senator, Dino Melaye.
Governor de Rivers threw his first punch when he said that Melaye was not fit to rule Kogi State.
Melaye hit back at Wike saying that Governor de Rivers’ comments were motivated by his anger at his (de Melaye) refusal to support his ambitions as vice president. system.
Reacting to the confrontation, Adeyanju tweeted:
“Imagine Wike trying to belittle Femi Falana, SAN because he became governor. The next governor of Rivers should take things easy.
“The incoming governors should generally take things easy. It’s ordinary governor, not deputy Jesus position.
“Dino is too hard on Wike, lol. Wike no matter what is still the best-performing governor in the 2015-2023 era despite all his nonsense talks and jumping all over the place.”
