Wicked World! Doctor Allegedly Poisons Colleague’s Water With Hiv Blood

The police in Korle Bu, Ghana, are investigating a doctor for allegedly poisoning a colleague’s drink with HIV-infected blood.

The doctors involved work at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, according to Graphic Online, and the crime is said to have been carried out following a quarrel between them while on duty.

A medical doctor, accompanied by the lawyer of Korle Bu Teaching Hospital (KBTH), Mr Kwame Gyamfi, filed a complaint at Korle Bu District Police Command around 11.30 a.m. on May 6, 2021, alleging water poisoning.

The medical practitioner told the authorities that he was on a 24-hour shift at the hospital’s Labour Ward One with six other doctors.

The medical doctor allegedly came to his consulting room at the end of his 24-hour shift and discovered that his drinking water, which he kept in a water bottle in the room, was tainted.

According to the doctor, he feared his water was poisoned after discovering a crimson substance in the water that looked like blood. Following that, a clinical test showed that it was blood and that it was also HIV positive.

The doctor stated that they had a fight while on duty at the labor ward, but did not name the colleague he suspects is responsible for the crime.
