We’ll bury PDP on March 11 – Abia LP candidate Otti

Dr. Alex Otti, LP Labor Party gubernatorial candidate in Abia State, said the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, was dead and would be buried at polling stations on March 11.

He was speaking at a reception organized in his honor by the CY Nwankwo Foundation, which took place over the weekend at the Isiala Ngwa Local Government Area in Abia State.

Otti bragged that the Labor Party had killed the PDP, after winning one of three senators and six of eight House of Representatives seats in Abia State in the congressional elections ended by the National Elections Commission. Independent, INEC, conducted on February 25, 2023.

Describing the LP as the main party in the State of Abia, he further claimed that the PDP, in its last attempt to cling to power, had come to town with evil propaganda against it.

His words:
“If you listen, you will hear all that comes out of this sinking PDP state government. How they started the violence, how they ensured no votes, how they wrote the results, how they spent money and bribed people, etc.

Continuing, he said:
“They also decided to reinstate some of the disbelievers they had previously fired [including a] chair of the local government transition committee.

“I think they reacted like someone about to drown. But they drowned and we will bury them on March 11, 2023.”

Oti added:
“If you check the social media space, all they’re doing now is posting false reports that are supposed to be mine. One of the things they said is I’m going to fire most of the civil servants.
