Governor Umar Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State has boasted that his APC party will win a landslide victory in the election.
Ganduje, who voted in his wards of Dawkin Tofa Local Government Area, urged Kano residents to keep the peace and avoid any tendency to violence.
“You should continue to exercise your citizenship to vote without resorting to violence to shame the critics who expect Kano to have no peace.
Governor Ganduje said the delivery of voting materials and the arrival of security forces were very timely and that voters behaved maturely.
He added that BVAS is working effectively where he voted and with what he witnessed, the election should go smoothly.
