Twitter has removed the verification badges of several prominent Nigerians including Peter Obi, Bola Tinubu, and President Muhammadu Buhari.
TRIBUNE ONLINE checked on Thursday that their account verification badge had been removed.
This follows the rebranding of Twitter CEO Elon Musk, who announced the deadline to remove the blue badge for free through his verified account badges on April 20. the year 2023.
Further examination revealed that many celebrities were also affected by the development.
