Former Kaduna Central lawmaker Shehu Sani said Rivers Governor Nyesom Wike‘s invitation to President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu demonstrates that the governor is aiming to please him.
As Naijaloaded previously reported, the President-elect is scheduled to visit Rivers State Wednesday and Thursday to operate an overpass and justice building built by Governor Wike’s administration.
Finally, in an effort to encourage people to take to the streets and greet Tinubu, Wike declared Wednesday a public holiday in the state.
Sani responded via Twitter on Wednesday saying that while Wike’s project is a huge achievement, the former Lagos Governor could choose to decline the invitation before it becomes common practice in the political sphere.
