A journey…
Quite a roller-coaster it was.
Ups, downs, wins and loss
Sometimes you felt like a popper some other times like a boss.
Sometimes I got to mountains way too big to climb, storms way to strong to overcome and a river too big to cross.
There were nights that I couldn’t hold back my tears
Days where my courage were not as strong as my fears
And tough days felt like years
Each day silent cry for help were laid, just incase any one hears.
OH! WHEN IS ALL THIS GOING TO END?!!!
I slept and woke up and years turned to days and then to hours and minutes
And slowly the journey began to come to an end
An end?…
“Every journey with a beginning always has an end” they say…
A now it’s the end of “the life of an undergraduate”
And now a new reality has begun.
So yes, a journey ended but a new phase starts.
Don’t get me wrong, yes there were sad and difficult days
But I also made beautiful memories, met amazing people, and most of all, I GREW.
Became better and valued what mattered.
Welcome into the new phase of light!
