Kalu Can Never Be Senate President – Adamu Garba Protests, Reveals Why

A leader of the All Progressive Congress, APC Adamu Garba, has said that former Abia governor Orji Uzo Kalu may qualify but will not become president of the senate for the 10th time after the party’s poor performance in the region. South East.
Adamu, who spoke on Arise TV’s morning show on Monday, said he was confident the head of the Senate would pull out of the Senate presidential race.

However, Kalu supporters insist that the position must be localized in the Southeast region, arguing that Chief Whip is the best candidate for the job.

But Mr. Garba told Arise TV that the legislator should first organize people in his area to have the right alignment with the ruling party.

He said,

“I am hundred percent confident that Senator Orji Uzor Kalu will withdraw from the race for the senate presidency.

“He is qualified but the performance from the South-east is considerably very low. He should find a way to organize the South-east so that they can mainstream with the APC strongly”.
