SYMPATHY OKWUAZU CHIBUOGWU RUNS FOR LIFE AS CULTIST ATTACK
The Chibuogwu family of Abavo in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State has raised alarm over the incessant attacks on one of their sons, Sympathy Okwuazu Chibuogwu.
A family member of Chibuogwu who spoke to newsmen on the condition of anonymity for the safety of his life, disclosed that the life of Sympathy Okwuazu Chibuogwu has been under threat by the continued attack on him by unidentified cult group. According to him, “The attack on Sympathy Okwuazu Chibuogwu started on November 8, 2022, when one of the labourers in his painting job with the name, Mr. Onyebuchi Amayo fell off the ladder and died.
“The unfortunate death of Onyebuchi Amayo resulted in uproar despite all efforts by Sympathy Okwuazu Chibuogwu’s family and the police to placate the bereaved family that the death of their son was accidental.
“Rather, the late Onyebuchi Amayo’s family resulted to seeking revenge through a cult group their son belonged to go after Sympathy Okwuazu Chibuogwu alleging that he killed Onyebuchi for money ritual”.
The source further disclosed that the police are fed up about the matter even as Sympathy Okwuazu Chibuogwu has gone into hiding for safety.
“It was also gathered that the late Onyebuchi Amayo was the leader of the confraternity and as such his members have vowed to avenge his death by killing Sympathy Okwuazu Chibuogwu whenever he is seen and to fulfill the wish of Amayo’s family.
“The safety of Sympathy Okwuazu Chibuogwu is our top priority as we don’t want him dead”, the Chibuogwu family cried.
