STRIVE TO ENTER
(Luke 13:24)
I’ve been wondering why my generation fail to serve God, they know the truth, in one way they’ve heard, some believe but they fail to abide, some who tried couldn’t continue because they think it’s difficult, now here is the illustration I came up with.
As a youth/child, I believe at least 80% are students (primary, secondary or university), immediately you finish your primary, you’ll be desparate to move on to secondary school, and your first day in secondary school, you’ll be the happiest kid, but as you move on, and maybe at the middle section you’ll be asked to sit for test and later on exam, yes some exams are really difficult but that’s not enough reason to drop out from school, even when you fail you’ll feel bad but that’s not enough reason to drop out, rather you study harder and make sure you’ll conquer the next exam, and after the 3rd term promotion exam (which is more difficult) you’ll be promoted to the next class, now relating this to CHRISTIANITY, yes as a Christian, as you grow you’re likely to face difficult times (James 1:2) but that’s not enough reason to give up on God, no matter how you fail exam, you wouldn’t love to give up on your academics why then do we give up on our creator? (James 1:12), we all believe NOTHING GOOD COMES EASY in our daily life, but why can’t we apply that to our heavenly race? Hold on young people (Lamentation 3:27) , God is still God and there’s always a reward for every temptation you overcome, (JOSEPH,JOB e.tc) don’t be quick to give up on God, he loves you and he knows your heart…. Come to HIM!
