SECURITY OPERATIVES DISRUPT DELTA NORTH BNYL MEETING, DECLARES COORDINATOR WANTED

Following a tipoff, the Army and Police on March 15, 2021, disrupted the meeting of the Delta North Biafra Nations Youth League (BNYL) holding at the residence of Mr. Frank Ugo Igwebuike, the coordinator of BNYL, in Umunede.
It was reported that over ten members of the group who were at the meeting at the time the force men invaded got injured while trying to escape.

Meanwhile, the Delta State Acting Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe when contacted confirmed the matter to be true, stating that the Nigeria Police Force is highly committed to checking activities of Biafra agitators in the State.
He disclosed that in Delta North Senatorial District that the Igwebuike family has continued to promote the Biafra activities against the wish of the government.
Continuing, DSP Edafe said the police are still in search of Mr. Frank Ugo Igwebuike who according to him has been on their wanted list.
