Proposed protest against Tinubu at White House has no merit – APC

Oyakhilome Bello, APC‘s National Youth Leader in the United States, said that it was unfounded by some to protest against Senator Bola Tinubu’s April 3 presidency in the United States.

Bello, who is also the deputy director of the North American Young Wing Campaign Council, said in a statement Friday.

He called the protest against Tinubu‘s appearance by several opposition groups at a park outside the White House on Thursday unfounded, saying such a demonstration would yield no results.

He said the protest does not weigh because of February 2. On February 25, the presidential election that made Tinubu the president-elect was free, fair, and trustworthy, adding that the former Governor of Lagos won the election outright.

He advised Nigerians not to worry about development but to stay calm and peaceful as APC will mobilize genuine Nigerians against the protest and take action to protect Tinubu’s tenure.

Bello said the chapter would work to ensure that those opposed to Tinubu’s emergence as president-elect would not succeed in their mission to disrupt Nigeria’s peace and stability.

He called on all patriotic Nigerians to unite to act for the unity and peace of the country and supported Tinubu and Vice President-elect, Senator Kashim Shettima to honor a better Nigeria. for everyone. He added that there were no stolen credentials as the opposition parties allege because Nigerian voters had freely given Tinubu credentials in the poll.

“The election thus faithfully reflects the voice of the majority, although there are some flaws identified in the election that can always be improved upon.

“The United States is the worldwide champion of democracy, there is no perfect election anywhere in the world, and the flaws identified in the election that just ended in Nigeria can only be improved.

“The majority of Nigerian voters have empowered Tinubu and no manipulation, propaganda, or network of lies can prevent his inauguration on May 29,” Bello said.

He called those calling for a provisional national government to be unpatriotic, proposed by several individuals.  He said these people don’t care about Nigeria’s interests, adding that Tinubu will be sworn in on May 29 by God’s grace as the country’s 16th president.
