A leader of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Dele Momodu, explained why the flag bearer of the Labor Party, LP, Peter Obi, won Lagos State in the recent presidential election. ends on February 25.

Dele Momodu said Obi won because of “Igbo predominance in Lagos”.

He revealed this on Thursday during an appearance on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily breakfast show.

“What happened last Saturday, the main factor was ethnicity:
The Labor Party was able to gain control of the massive APC thanks to the Igbo predominance of Lagos. They are everywhere,” said Momodu. Momodu added that Obi and Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, held their respective geopolitical bases, unlike Bola Tinubu, who was unable to keep his base in Lagos.
