Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Ighoho, has been freed from the Benin Republic government’s custody.
Ilana Omo Oodua (IOO) Communications Secretary Maxwell Adeleye made the news in a statement on Monday.
Prof. Banji Akintoye, the head of the IOO, is said to have been given Igboho.
Following his release, Igboho was photographed alongside Yoruba leaders in a series of images that have gone viral on the internet.
