The Chairman of Stevenson Royal Hotel and Suites, Mr. Stevenson Ikpade has stated that the major goal of going into the hospitality industry is to reduce unemployment rates in the country.

Speaking with the team, the Alifekede born business mogul revealed his intentions of more expansion, so as to get more people engaged. He opined that for crimes and social vices to be curbed, practical measures should be taken by meaningfully engaging the young people and not mere rhetorical talks. In his words, he said “if we must really fight crime in this our society today, we just need to meaningful engage our youths, this will also help reduce the unemployment rate faced with this country. We plan to acquire more land space to expand the more. This will help us employ more people and reduce the number of idle minds we have; an idle mind is more prone to the thoughts of social vices”
He also stated that he wishes to build and make Stevenson Royal Hotel and Suites the best it can be by stepping up the games at all times to make sure that best services are rendered, leaving customers with no options than to always check in.
When asked why he chooses to bring such investment to Agbor, even when it could be anywhere, especially the Northern Nigeria where he spent most of his life, Mr. Stevenson said that Agbor is his home and first love, so there is no place, best to bring such development, except Agbor.
