Nigeria police invites Potable, over allegation of inhumane treatment on fellow citizen

The Ogun State Police Command, on Monday, Has request that the popular Zazoo crooner and Afro-pop artiste Habeeb Okikiola popularly called ‘Portable’ to report himself to any nearest police station, over an allegation of inhuman treatment as contained in a video said to have gone viral of recent.

DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi said that failure of ‘Portable’ to submit himself to the police, means that his arrest would promptly be ordered.

The musician in the viral video was alleged to have organised and set up some youths to inflict great bodily injury on the person.

The police did state that such act was barbaric and it’s very unbecoming of a decent human being who is meant to act as a model to the youths to partake in such act.
Before the youth begin to follow up such condemnable acts”.

The police spokesman also state that -“Jungle justice has no place in our laws and whoever embarked on it must be made to feel the weight of the law, no matter the status of such person”.
