INNOCENT ISIOMA ONYEORU RUNS FOR DEAR LIFE OVER 3 MONTHS ULTIMATUM TO JOIN SECRET CULT
A Bricklayer and native of Owa-Alidinma Community in Ika Northeast Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria, Mr. Innocent Isioma Onyeoru, on 3rd March, 2016, run for his dear life over a three month ultimatum given to him by the dreaded Ogboni Fraternity, his late father’s Secret Cult in Agbor Kingdom.
Ika Weekly Newspaper Reporter, as at the time of filing this report, learnt that Innocent’s late father, Mr. Johnson Onyeoru was the paramount leader of the dreaded Ogboni Fraternity, leader the Secret Cult members in Owa-Alidinma Community, where he resided with his family. It was also gathered that after his death in 2014, his son, Innocent was summoned by the Chief-Priest Mr. Richard Okoh who halis from Agbor, a kingdom that is very close to Owa-Alidinma, on the 18th November, 2014, to inform him of the need for him to take over his late father’s roles in the ocultic world.
In addition, the newsman was also told that a minimum of three months ultimatum was forcefully issued to Innocent to think and get prepared for the rictuals and proper initiation into the Ogboni Fraternity. But, that all efforts made by the dreaded members of the Secret Cult to drag Innocent into their group, proved abortive when Innocent realized that as a Christian, it is very wrong for him to mingle with the evil men. Based on that, the newsman learnt that he decided to run for his dear life, leaving his mother, Mrs. Johnson Rose and siblings behind.
Speaking with the newsman, the Chief-Priest, Mr. Jonathan Egbule Okoh said that it is the duty, custom and tradition of his Secret Cult that when a member dies, his or her son will be brought for initiation to enable him take over roles their late fathers play in Secret Cult. He also disclosed that before they will bury any member that any male child that will succeed such person will sleep in a secret room with the dead body and some members of the Secret Cult will also be there with him for the performance of more spiritual rites at the Temple of the gods, which he said Innocent was made to face during his father’s burial.
Continuing, the Chief-Priest, said that there was a time they wanted to hold a crucial meeting with Innocent, only for them to discover the he has fleed to Lagos, saying but as the gods may have it, he was confronted by some of our elders who visited the area in the city, although, he was not apprehended.
This is because his owner of the house he traveled to, refused to tell our elder his whereabouts as at that time. The Chief-Priest therefore promised that if Innocent finally refused to join them, they will kill him or make him to run mad whenever he visits home.
