Okehi Rating Officer Dr. Emeka Oguju while presenting the results to the State Rating Officer, Professor Wahab Egbewale at Kogi Rating Center said that the results from 31 polling stations were canceled due to violence. force. Ogujo said 12,037 votes were annulled at 31 polling stations in four wards where voting materials were taken away by political thugs.

“At the polling stations that were hit the hardest, there was violence perpetrated by political thugs who invaded the office and disrupted the whole process,” he lamented.

According to him, 9,558 votes were canceled at the relevant polling stations in the region. Furthermore, Ibaji LGA reconciliation officer Professor Dauda Tanko said that the results of 11 polling stations were annulled in the region following the violence. Tanko, who did not specify the number of votes affected by the cancellation, said four registration areas had been affected by the activity of political thugs.
