Ibarapa people don’t want APC again – Oyo Assembly Speaker, Ogundoyin

Oyo State Assembly Speaker, Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin said people in the geopolitical region of Ibarapa do not want the Progressive All Peoples Congress (APC) to return to power in the state.

Ogundoyin, who currently represents the Ibarapa East State Constituency, revealed on Saturday.

There are three (3) Local Government Areas that make up the Ibarapa Geopolitical Area in Oyo State.
Ogundoyin said people were tired of the APC government.

The speaker, who is seeking re-election on the platform of the PDP, said people in the area do not want the APC back in power. The speaker, while reacting to several videos that appeared online a few days ago, described the videos as being sponsored by opposition elements who had feared impending defeat in their life. upcoming state gubernatorial elections and in the House of Representatives.

Ogundoyin, in the statement provided to the DAILY POST on Saturday, added that the election should not be seen as a matter of life and death.

Ogundoyin said, “Our people are fed up with the APC government in Oyo State and they don’t want this government in power again. Governor Seyi Makinde’s four years are not only good for the people but also peaceful.

“What does it mean for them to neglect or abandon Ibarapaland when the current government of Oyo State has projects across our region? We have road projects from Igboora/Idere/Ayete/Tapa to Igangan and Igangan to Iganna. These projects traverse all of Ibarapaland.

“In Ibarapa East alone, we have four road projects approved by Governor Seyi Makinde’s government. Talk about Ogundoyin Road, Local Government Secretariat Road, New Eruwa to Maya Road Project, and His recently reported Ido/Eruwa Road.

“I know that the opposition has been calculating its damage even before the election. Because as a legislator, I kept my campaign promise.”
