People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar has said he is ready to ally with his Labor Party (LP) counterpart, Peter Obi.
Atiku Abubakar said so during a press conference in Abuja on Thursday.

Atiku Abubakar’s comments come a day after All Progressive Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu was declared the winner of Saturday’s exercise.

Recall that the Chairman of the Independent National Election Commission (INEC), Mahmood Yakubu announced that Bola Tinubu was the winner of the poll at 4 a.m. Wednesday at the National Snack Center in Abuja.

“That APC’s Tinubu Bola Ahmed, which met the requirements of the law, was declared the winner and was re-elected,” Prof Yakubu said in a statement. While the PDP and LP rejected the poll results, Atiku, who ran alongside Peter Obi in the 2019 election, said he was open to working with the former Anambra governor.
