HOMOSEXUAL ACT: STEVE PROSPER STILL WANTED
An indigene of Igbodo Community in Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State, Okwuchi Steve Prosper, also known as Steve Prosper is still on the wanted list of the Nigeria Police Force for a homosexual act he committed in 2014.
This was disclosed by the Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Superintendent (SP) Isaac Ogbodu, who briefed journalists on the issue on January 10, 2022, said the signal he received mandated them to bring the fleeing Steve Prosper to book, disclosing that a handsome reward awaits anyone with useful information that would lead to his arrest.
According to him, “Homosexuality according to the Nigerian constitution attracts 14 years jail term. In this regard, we have spread our dragnet to arrest Steve Prosper to face the wrath of the law. This will not serve as a deterrent to others, but will also help in reformation. The information we gathered is that Steve indulged in gay practice from a tender age.
SP Ogbodu appealed to members of the public who have information on the whereabouts of Steve Prosper to inform the division or other nearest police station.
Steve Prosper also has a case to answer in his Igbodo community since homosexuality is considered an abomination and anyone caught in the act is bound to face jungle justice.
A source from his Igbodo Community said people who see Steve Prosper have been mandated to bring him to face a death sentence for the abominable crime of homosexuality. We gathered that death is the only penalty and failure to do so, the community will face the wrath of the gods of their land with strange deaths, and famine amidst other strange calamities befalling the community.
It would be recalled that former Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan signed the controversial same-sex marriage Prohibition Act (SSMA) into law, despite widespread international objection.
Those found guilty of being in same-sex relationship face 14 years in jail.
