History Of Western Delta University

Western Delta University is located in Oghara, Delta State, Nigeria. It was founded in 2007 and is a private university. The National University Commission of NUC, Nigeria has officially approved the WDU of Western Delta University.

Western Delta University was founded by a group of Urhobo Scholars under the auspices of the Urhobo Progressive Foundation (UAF) who saw the need for a privately funded university in the wetlands of the United States. Delta State, Utah, Nigeria. Since its establishment in 2007, WDU has provided many learning opportunities for students.

Admission
Western Delta University accepts students through JAMB UTME and direct admission to various courses.  Western Delta University’s entry requirement is to pass GCE O/Level, SSCE, NECO, or NABTEB credit in at least five (5) subjects including English, Mathematics, and a related Science or Social Sciencesachie no more than two (2) sitting subjects. Direct Entry candidates must hold a good degree (with a minimum number of credits), an NCE degree (with minimum achievement) from accredited institutions, OR pass 2 GCEs at an advanced level in the following courses. related subjects.
