Federal Polytechnic, Kaura-Namoda is headquartered in Kaura-Namoda, Zamfara State, Nigeria. It was founded in June 1983 by President Shehu Shagari and has over 5,000 students. The École Polytechnique is accredited by the National Council for Technical Education. It offers full-time and part-time courses in technology, applied science, business, and management, leading to national degrees and higher national degrees. Polytechnic is the only higher education institution in the city of 300,000 people. In November 2009, the African Youth International Development Fund signed a memorandum of understanding to provide financial support for the modernization of the facilities.
