  1. Founding and Early Years:
Deeper Life Bible Church was founded by Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi. Kumuyi was born on June 6, 1941, in Erin-Ijesha, Osun State, Nigeria. After graduating with a degree in Mathematics, he worked as a lecturer at the university for a brief period.

  2. Divine Call and Ministry Inception:
In 1973, after much prayer and seeking God’s direction, William Kumuyi began his ministry by organizing a Bible study group with 15 university students in Lagos. The group focused on intense Bible study and personal holiness, and it quickly gained popularity among young people and students.

  3. Growth and Expansion:
The small Bible study group continued to grow rapidly, and it eventually evolved into what is now known as Deeper Life Bible Church. The church’s emphasis on biblical teachings, holiness, and sanctification attracted many followers who were seeking a deeper and more committed Christian walk.
