A member of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, was assaulted in Abuja on Saturday for alleged election malpractice.
The incident happened at a polling station inside LEA Elementary School in the Lugbe region of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
In one video, bystanders said he was caught printing ballots for a political party.
The corps member was attacked by dozens of young men who challenged him for such misconduct.
“They should not kill him. Please…please,” a woman begged profusely.
DAILY POST gathered that the intervention of some residents and security operatives saved the young man from being lynched.
