FRANK EDWARDS Biography
Frank Ugochukwu Edwards, aka FrankRichboy is a Nigerian songwriter and gospel singer. He was born in Enugu state, Nigeria on the 22nd of July, 1989. At age 10, he already was in love with music, and his father taught him to play the piano at a tender age.
Frank is a member of the presidential band of the Christ Embassy Church. His first album “The Definition” was released in 2008, it had 14 tracks and was distributed by Honesty Music. Subsequently, in 2010, he released another album, “Angels on the runway”. Since then till now, he has more than 5 albums.
On the 11th of May 2011, Frank was nominated as the Gospel artiste of the year in the sixth annual NEA (Nigeria Entertainment Awards). He also won best male vocalist of West Africa in 2012.
He has made collaborations with other Gospel artistes like himself, including Micah Stampley, Nathaniel Bassey, Don Moen, and Jeanine Zoe, etc. Besides being an artiste that record songs he is also music producer and the owner of Rocktown Records, a music organization that has a set of upcoming artistes which includes Gil Joe, Soultune, Nkay, King BAS, David etc.
As of now, Frank Edwards is still single although there are rumours of him having a relationship with Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s daughter (Sharon).
