EMUHU-EZE COMMUNITY DECLARES ARINZE SOLOMON WANTED
-He Must Face Death Sentence-Elders
The elders of Emuhu Community in the Agbor Kingdom, Ika South Local Government Area during an emergency meeting held on July 28, 2014, declared Arinze Solomon, the first and only son of their late Community Chief Priest, Alexander Arinze wanted for violating their traditional rites.
According to an elder in the community who claimed anonymity disclosed to our reporter that it is abominable for Arinze Solomon to have refused to take over the role of his late father as the community Chief Priest despite his religious belief for the fact that it is tied to the life of their community.
He said, “Arinze Solomon has worsened the matter to have fled from the community to nowhere, thereby putting the people of his community at risk of the wrath of the gods.
“From creation, according to our forefathers, the community chief priest position has remained hereditary.
“We are now living in fear for no one knows the family the vengeance of the gods of the land will visit first for Arinze Solomon’s abominable act.
“The people of Emuhu-Eze cannot live happily without their Chief Priest to consult their oracle for possible solutions”.
Continuing, our source recalled that a similar situation that happened in the past caused the people to die as there was great hunger amidst famine before the return of the supposed chief priest.
He added that the people of their community are at crossroads as to what to do, revealing that the only possible solution to avert the wrath of the gods is to have Arinze Solomon killed and his blood used for cleansing for another chosen person from their family linage to occupy the position.
The anonymous elder said the whereabouts of the original chief priest to be (Arinze Solomon) has remained their biggest problem and a mystery to contend with, which according to the Emuhu-Eze people poses a threat to their wellbeing following the crisis that will be rocking the community and that unless he is confirmed dead, a new chief priest from their family linage cannot be installed.
He concluded by claiming that the outcome concerning their chief priest position has no interference from the government, police, or court of the law as it is pure tradition.
Meanwhile, the elders of Emuhu-Eze, Agbor have declared Arinze Solomon wanted to take over the Chief Priest position of his forefathers to save his people from the wrath of the gods of the land by his long absence or face the penalty of death.
