Elias Dummer, Juno and GMA Canada Covenant Award-winning singer/songwriter and co-founder of The City Harmonic, has released a new tune called “Expectation.” “Expectation,” written by Dummer and Ben Cantelon (Kari Jobe, The Belonging Co) and produced by Brent Milligan (Colony House, David Crowder Band), is the first single from Dummer’s forthcoming full-length project, The Work Vol. II.
“’Expectation’ is an invitation to worship, naming the various stages and hardships we all encounter when approaching God at different points in our lives,” he continues. “I had no clue how urgent and encouraging this song would become in the aftermath of the past year and a half when the thought originally came to me.
