Diesel Sells For N625 Per Litre

Nigerians have bemoaned the rise in diesel prices as well as the present fuel crisis.

This comes as the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and the federal government have failed to find a solution to the continuing situation.

The price of fuel has risen to roughly N625 per litre, prompting individuals to vent their frustrations on social media.

According to TheCable, this is a 4% rise over the N540/litre it sold last week, and a 30% increase over the previous two weeks.

The development comes amid fears that the US and its European allies would impose a ban on Russian petroleum shipments.
