CULT ATTACK: COLLINS ETUMUSE RUNS FOR LIFE
One Collins Etumuse, a native of Mbiri in Ika North East Local Government Area is currently on the run for his life as members of the Black Axe cult group threatened fire over the apprehension of 11 members by the anti-cult police in Delta State on July 7, 2016.
Ika Weekly gathered that trouble started when members of the Black Axe cult on several occasions stormed the home of Chief and Chief (Mrs) Nathan Etumuse in Agbor to demand payment of monthly dues of their son, Collins Etumuse who according to them had been absent from meetings since he joined the cult group, unknowing to the cult group that he (Collins Etumuse) has been seriously ill after his initiation.
The visit of the Black Axe members made Chief and Chief (Mrs) Nathan Etumuse to feel unsafe because they were not aware that their son, Collins Etumuse was a cultist who involved the police leading to the arrest of eleven (11) of their members who were found to be in possession of ammunitions.
Collins Etumuse was said to have fled from the hospital where he was receiving treatment because he could no longer bear the anger from his parents and the repercussions from the dreaded cult members who had threatened war if their arrested members were convicted.
Meanwhile, as at the time of filing this report, the eleven arrested members were already cooling off their heels at the Delta State Police Command, Asaba.
Also, the Delta State Command Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Andrew Aniamaka confirmed the arrest of the suspected cultist, assuring that they will soon be charged to court.
