CULT ATTACK: ARAPUTA SUNDAY, SIBLINGS RUN FOR LIFE

The Araputa family from Agbor, Delta State has declared the children of their late brother, Late Mr. Andrew Araputa missing.
The patriarch of Araputa family, Mr. Innocent Araputa who disclosed this to journalists during the week, said the mysterious whereabouts of their late brother’s children had continued to give them sleepless night.
According to him, “Our late brother, Andrew Araputa has six children amongst who were identical twin brothers, Araputa Sunday and Araputa Lucky.
“Our late brother’s siblings flee to unknown destination because their life was under treat following a cult clash that claimed the life of our brother Araputa Lucky on April 3, 2019.”
“I was told that the disagreement that led to the cult clash and killings was initiated by our late son Araputa Lucky who was said to be a member of the Aromates and against the Black Axe cult groups. But discussion among them which degenerated to serious quarrels first claimed the life of one John Okoh, a member of Black Axe on January 10, 2019.
“Black Axe, a no mercy confraternity in retaliation murdered Araputa Lucky. As if it was not enough, members of Black Axe who did not know that late Araputa Lucky is an identical twin brother of late Araputa Sunday had on severally occasion attacked him”.
Continuing, Mr. Araputa said a close family friend confided in the Araputa family of the vow made by Chief Ikemba Okoh, the father to late John Okoh to kill all the children of their late brother, Andrew Araputa as it will be the end to the cult crisis.
He said efforts made to plead with Chief Ikemba Okoh family for settlement failed because nobody was ready to listen to them.
While lamenting that the Nigeria Police has failed them in the protection of lives of its citizens, the patriarch of the Araputa family said the policemen in Agbor ignored them even though their son, Araputa Sunday earlier had reported the matter to them. He stated that the series of attacks Araputa Sunday and his siblings have faced before their sudden disappearance is a confirmation that members of Black Axe and the Chief Ikemba Okoh want them dead.
Mr. Araputa therefore appealed to whoever has information on the whereabouts of their late brother’s children to reach out to them and most importantly provide them shelter, saying that they are orphans only seeking for safety and survival of their lives.
