Nigerian activist Adetoun Onajobi has criticized the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Governor of Lagos state, Azeez Olajide Adediran known as Jandor for being an abused wife.
The allegation was made days before the state gubernatorial election.
Adetoun also challenged Jandor to publicly deny the accusations of being a rapist and beater of women.
According to her, this politician assaulted her many years ago and she only opened up to her brother a year ago.
The activist alleges that the PDP candidate is arrogant and doesn’t listen to anyone. While advising her followers not to pity her, she tells them to let her fight against him.
“You’re arrogant, you don’t even listen. Did you just hit a woman or did you hit me before? Even your brother, Baba Ashabi, I didn’t tell him until last year. If you support the PDPs, withdraw your vote or you will waste it at the polling station,” Adetoun said in the video. Adetoun, a fierce critic of incumbent Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu also questioned Jandor about his wife’s fate amid the ongoing campaign, saying there was no interaction between her and the man. She noted that the opposition party should stop wasting their money and that supporters should also avoid wasting their votes on March 11.
