Benue election: Governor Ortom loses the senatorial nomination to APC candidate 

Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State lost his senatorial nomination after losing to Titus Zam of All Progressive Congress, APC in the Benue North West election.

While Ortom got 106,882 votes, Zam got 143,151 votes, and Mark Gbillah, Labor Party, LP candidate, got 51,950 votes.

The results were released by the Senate Reconciliation Officer, Professor Rufus Shaa’to in Makurdi, the state capital.
