During a chat with some of the Bbnaija housemates in the garden on Friday, day six of the show, Liquorose, a Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye housemate, claimed she began using cosmetics while she was in primary school.
Liquorose admitted to engaging in the act since she didn’t think she was attractive at the time, according to the conversation, which was recorded by our journalist.
“I used to feel like I wasn’t doing well growing up,” she explained. As a result, I began wearing makeup when I was in primary school.
“Back then, my mother used to chastise me about it. I had the sensation I wasn’t doing well.”
Liquorose admitted that she was really underweight at the time and that she would always wake up with puffiness in some areas of her face.
She confessed, however, that she altered her mind about herself when she started receiving love letters from boys in Junior Secondary School three.
It was said of her that she was the prettiest girl in JSS3, thus she would always go to the mirror to admire her appearance.
Sammie also added to the conversation by revealing that he wasn’t particularly attractive when he was younger.
