Bandits requesting 100m for 35 Kidnapped worshippers

As reported, Bandits who attacked Maranatha Baptist Church and St Moses Catholic Church in Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State are requesting a huge some of N100m ransom for the worshippers they kidnapped.

 

Both churches in Robuh, Ungwan Aku, was attacked on Sunday, June 19, leading to the death of three worshippers, some injured and 36 others Abducted.

The traditional Head of Aungwan Fada in the local council Elisha Mari, who was among those kidnapped, in his report said that he was granted freedom by the Bandits and asked to go source for N100m to secure the save release of 35 other victims.

As illustrated by the traditional Head, the bandits stormed their villages on over 50 Motorcycles and shot continuously to create tension before abducting them away.

He further gave details that it took them about two hours before they got to the bandits’ camp where the hostages were kept.

  • Mari said he was allowed to go because he is the traditional Head of the villagers and also he was asked to raise at least N100 million ransom for those in their Detention.
