Atiku crushes Tinubu and Obi in Akwa Ibom presidential election 

The presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar won the national elections in Akwa Ibom State.

The former vice president won 214,012 votes to defeat Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC, who won 160,620 votes.

Peter Obi, Labor Party, LP presidential candidate, won 132,683 votes.
The state’s filing officer, Professor Emmanuel Adigio, made the announcement Monday afternoon.

Adigio is the Vice-Chancellor of the Maritime University of Nigeria, Okerenkoko, Delta State. Atiku’s victory is a major victory for Governor Akwa Ibom Udom Emmanuel, Chairman of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council, PCC.
