Accept defeat, retreat to Dubai – Fayose mocks Atiku

Former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose has urged the People’s Democratic Party, PDP presidential candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to accept defeat amid the ongoing presidential election on Saturday.

While urging Atiku to show maturity by accepting defeat, Fayose, who is in the same party as the presidential candidate, advised him to take a break and retreat to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

The former governor of Ekiti, Fayose, revealed this in a tweet he posted on his verified Twitter account on Monday night.
The tweet read: “Our candidate, H.E. Atiku Abubakar (aka ‘Atiku is coming’) should accept defeat as an adult and peacefully retire to Dubai. May I say good night and goodbye to everyone you represent now? »

Meanwhile, the Independent National Election Commission, INEC, has yet to announce the election winner to be held on Saturday while the draw is still underway. With Atiku winning several states in some reported results, he was behind APC candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
