Accept defeat, call Tinubu – APC tells Atiku, Peter Obi

The All Progressives Congress, APC, Presidential Campaign Council, PCC, called for the presidential candidates of the Labor Party, LP, Peter Obi, and Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, to concede defeat to the elected president of Nigeria.

APC PCC’s communications adviser, Dele Alake, made this comment while condemning the LP and PDP for calling for the annulment of the presidential election.

Recall that the PDP and LP held a joint press conference yesterday, where they condemned the conduct of Saturday’s election.

They asked the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to annul the election.

In response, Alake said calling for the election to be canceled was “disrupting democracy”.

Speaking to reporters in Abuja, Alake said Atiku and Obi should “accept defeat with honor”.

“Our candidate won this election, according to results published by snack centers in the states. In 2015, President Jonathan didn’t wait for INEC to finish his snack to call out. called President Buhari to show true democracy and sportsmanship. “We urge Abubakar and Obi to follow the path of honor instead of heating up the regime with reckless statements from their representatives. Let Atiku and Obi do what is necessary, what is necessary, and save Nigeria by calling Tinubu now and admitting defeat. Alake said.
