ABAVO KINGSHIP TUSSLE DEEPENS AS POLICE, YOUTHS, DECLARE SUNDAY BLESSING, OTHERS WANTED
Agony, protest and rebel has perverted the once peaceful agrarian community of Abavo Kingdom in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State as the lingering crises rocking the Kingdom has assumed a more delicate dimension.

The crises in a recent development on March 26, 2015 had one of the community youths, Sunday Blessing and others wanted by the police.
According to the statement made available by the Police through the Police Public Relation Office, Ahmed Shittu, stated that Sunday Blessing was declared wanted for withholding information which is of high importance to investigate a warring group.
Others on the wanted list are; Onyeisi Ighator, John Andrew, Nosa Igiebor, Douglas Okupe, Ojah Ozor, Smart Jaja, Alex Orue, Emeke Irabor, Roland Odi and Linus Mgbeke.
Blessing, whose case could be best described as unfortunate, got himself entangled in the matter when he refused disclosing certain information requested by a warring group regarding the crisis.
Ika Weekly gathered that Blessing refused to speak, following the instruction of his father, Mr. Okoh Sunday, who is said to be the major man who the people wanted to speak on the matter before his untimely death.
The Police advised the wanted persons to report to the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to testify their role in the crises.
This is however, seen impossible as HRM Obi Irenuma, the Obi of Abavo Kingdom had threatened to kill Sunday Blessing with the aid of some of the youths who are on his side, should Blessing testify against him as to who is the rightful King or his secret dealings as the King is alleged to have continued to resist pressures of being dethroned.
According to a source made available to us, Blessing has taken to his heels and gone hiding as his life is said to be in danger.
